Chris Benoit's last known words were likely spoken in a voicemail he left for Chavo Guerrero Jr. on June 24, 2007. In the voicemail, Benoit reportedly said that he was not able to make it to their scheduled wrestling event in Texas and apologized for having to cancel. This was one of the last interactions Benoit had with anyone before the tragic events that unfolded later that weekend. On June 25, 2007, Benoit murdered his wife Nancy and their son Daniel before taking his own life.
